Biography
Mable Arlene Keen, 84, of Baroda passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Jordan’s Life Care Center, Bridgman.
A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Lakeside United Methodist Church with Rev. George Lawton officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or Lakeside United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Keen was born October 4, 1924 in Berrien Center. She was employed for a number of years as a cook at River Valley High School. Mable and her husband cared for many foster children. She was a long time member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and active in its ministries.
Survivors include a son, Todd (Mercedies) Keen of LaPorte, Indiana; a daughter, Cheryl (Ted) Seal of Baroda; four grandsons and one granddaughter.
Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Keen.
