Marilyn Dumke

Marilyn Jane Dumke, 91, of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 N. Church Street, Bridgman,  with Reverend Edward Meyer officiating.  Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the service at the church. Marilyn was born August 14, 1927 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Merle and Ella (Hutchinson) Wallis. She married Paul J. Dumke, Jr. on November 25, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1987. Marilyn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her children: Robert (Jeanette) Dumke, Diane (John Fannin) Chaddock, Carol (Karl) Kaeding, Paul Dumke; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; siblings: William (Juanita) Wallis and Cheryl (Larry) Tercha.

Marilyn was also preceded in death by a son: William Dumke in 2011 ; infant daughter: Dawn Dumke in 1963; and grandchild: Catherine Cassidy in 2017 .
