Mary Bernadette Pentavalle, 98, of Bridgman, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at her home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake Street, Bridgman with Father Arthur Howard as Celebrant. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 AM prior to the service at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Mary was born June 28, 1915 in Waukegan, Illinois, the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Vidmar) Leskovec. She married Peter Pentavalle on February 16, 1935 and they shared their lives for over 55 years until his death in 1991. Mary worked for Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago for 35 years. After retirement in 1983, she and Peter moved to Bridgman and wintered in Big Pine Key, Florida. Mary loved to sew, crochet, knit and was an avid bowler. But she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids more than anything else.

Survivors include her daughter Evelyn M. (Dr. Joseph) Rambo of Bridgman; grandchildren - Joseph (Susie) Rambo, Jean (Steve) Livengood, Michelle (Jim) Solgat, Peter Rambo, Stephen Rambo; great grandchildren - Sarah Livengood, Rachel Solgat, Jason Howard, Jamie Adams; great great grandchildren - Caden, Carmen, and Madison; nieces and nephews - Jacqueline and Charles Leskovec, Lorna Hilton, Sylvia Trygar, Michael Zorc and Rose Schindler; and sister-in-law: Geri Leskovec of Florida.

Mary was also preceded in death by two brothers - Stanley and August Leskovec.
