Michael Anthony Brincks

Michael Anthony Brincks, 64, of Bridgman passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

Mike was born on July 17, 1962 in Carroll, Iowa the son of Jerome and Lois (Woerdehoff) Brincks. He grew up in Bridgman, Michigan and graduated from Bridgman High School in 1980. Mike married Lori Boone in 1984 and in the years following, together they welcomed two sons. He worked for ServiceMaster as a Restoration Technician for many years.

Outside of his family, his greatest joy was found in the quiet of nature. Whether taking a slow walk through the woods or watching the birds, he appreciated the simple, peaceful moments in life. But above all, he cherished his roles as father and grandpa. It was his character that made everyone feel special. He was adored by his grandchild, as well as his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Everyone loved Uncle Mike (and Uncle Mike loved his beer.)

Survivors include his sons: Cody (Amanda) Brincks and Chase (Meagan) Brincks; and their mother, Lori Boone; one granddaughter, Wrenley Brincks; his mother, Lois Brincks; and four sisters: Jean (Mark) Knaak, Michelle (Lewis) Elkins, Jenny (Eric) Cooper, and Julie Pyburn.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Brincks, on April 16, 2024.
