Michael DeMorrow

THREE OAKS - Michael Edward DeMorrow, 62, of Three Oaks passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 29 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Father Don Suberlak, C.R. officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be given to Berrien County Cancer Service.

Michael was born January 23, 1946 in Harbert, the son of the late Lloyd and Cecelia (Billings) DeMorrow. He proudly served in the US Navy. On February 27, 1966 he married Joan Falzone. Mike was a diesel mechanic at Elk Distributing in Elkhart, Indiana.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years; five children – Gina (Darren) Nichols of Sawyer, Michelle (Roger Lowery) Snyder of New Buffalo, JoAnn (Marco) Casco of Summerville, South Carolina, Christine (Sonny) Fuller of Buchanan, and Michael E. DeMorrow II of Three Oaks; 16 grandchildren; 4½ great grandchildren; four brothers – Lou (Ruby) DeMorrow of Missouri, Wilfred (Mie) DeMorrow of Three Oaks, Thomas (Yvonne) DeMorrow of Nevada, and David (Shirley) DeMorrow of Harbert; and two sisters – Bunny (Andy) Kelly of Missouri and Theresa (Paul) Keller of North Carolina.

Mike was also preceded in death by a sister, Cordelia “Sis” Smith.
