Nancy Sarah Koebel

Nancy Sarah Koebel, 83, of Baroda passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

A graveside service for Nancy and her husband, Richard, will be held 1 PM on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Nancy was born on July 16, 1942 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Carl and Gertrude (Ladwig) Nitz. On June 10, 1978 she married Richard Koebel and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2025. She retired from Heathkit Corporation. Nancy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baroda and the Stevensville American Legion Post 568 Auxiliary. She and Richard enjoyed spending time at the cabin and The Rendezvous Bar in Baldwin.

Survivors include her brother, Nathan (Julie) Nitz; niece, Rebecca (Jeff) Zuhlke; and nephew, Eric (Michelle) Nitz.

Nancy was also preceded in death by a brother, Neal Nitz.
