Ozzie Dwayne Huff, 59, of Venice, Florida passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021 at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, surrounded by his two daughters and his girlfriend.

A Celebration of Life in Florida and a graveside memorial will be held at Hickory Bluff Cemetery, 4290 Cleveland Ave, Stevensville at a later date. Ozzie was born August 8, 1962 in Benton Harbor, the son of the late Elmer Harold Huff and Mary Nell Huff-Sloan. He grew up in the 12 Corners area and graduated from Coloma High School in 1980. He went on to pursue his career in the asphalt industry. Ozzie was an aspiring entrepreneur with unique and creative ideas. He always worked hard and enjoyed what he did and the people he met along the way. He worked many years in Michigan until he decided to move to Florida in 2013 to continue his career. He loved spending time with family and friends. His two grandsons were his pride and joy. He enjoyed music, cooking for people and antique “junking”. He enjoyed rooting for the Chicago Cubs and the Bears.

Survivors include his two daughters: Kendra (Grant) Gilmore and Kelsey (Robert) Craig; two grandsons: Alden and Emig Gilmore; three brothers: Rick (LeaAnn) Huff, Dave Huff and Doug Huff; step-father: J.R. Sloan; girlfriend: Debbie Pope; his best buddies: Donny, Dave and Kevin; and so many great friends and family members.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
