Pauline Gertrude Miller, 84, of Stevensville passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2005 at Jordan’s Nursing Home, Bridgman.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, 564 S. Main Street, Suite 200, Ann Arbor, MI 48104-2870. Arrangements have been entrusted to Boyd-Pike Funeral Home, Bridgman.

Mrs. Miller was born August 25, 1920 in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude (West) Mullinix. On March 22, 1941, she married James H. Miller. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Baroda and the Bridgman American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. Pauline had been employed by Norwegian American Hospital and Mary Thompson Hospital, both in Chicago, retiring in 1982.

Loving wife of James; dear mother of - Pamela A. Miller of Bridgman and Phillip (Charlotte) Miller of Huntley, Illinois; one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Miller; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two sisters - Virginia Powell of Piqua, Ohio and Kathryn Bunschuh of San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Miller was also preceded in death by a son, William Miller in 2003; one brother, Herbert Mullinix; and two sisters - Mildred O’Rock and Rosemary Brown.
