Marguerite Ruth “Peggy” Krieger, 76, of Bridgman passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, PO Box 26, Bridgman, MI 49106.

Peggy was born May 9, 1937, in Rockford, IL the daughter of the late William Bert and Loretta (Dittmar) Stine. She married Darwin Krieger on July 27, 1956 and they shared 57 years together. Peggy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She worked alongside Darwin at Zodiac Industries which was their plastic injection mold shop. Peggy was a lifetime member of Bridgman American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband Darwin; children - Mark Krieger of Bridgman, Kathryn (Tim) Lemon of Berrien Springs; grandchildren - Megan (David) DeKoster, Kami Krieger; great grandchildren - Emma and Aubrey; brothers - Jack (Norma) Stine of Freeport, IL, Jim (Jeanette) Stine, Mike Stine, and Russ (Sally) Stine all of Bridgman; sister - Sherry (Elmer) Darnell of Galien.

She is also preceded in death by her brother William Stine Jr. and sister Kathryn Stine.
