Richard Willeman

Mr. Willeman was born September 23, 1941 in Wauseon, Ohio the son of Dallas and Lyla (Snow) Willeman. He served in the US Air Force and on March 14, 1968 he married the former Marilyn A. Chiappetta. Richard was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bridgman and the Baroda American Legion Post. From 1981-1993 he was a member of the Bridgman School Board. He owned State Shoe Repair in St. Joseph for 15 years and then operated the business from his home for ten years.

Born: September 23, 1941 Place of Birth: Wauseon, Ohio Death: October 29, 2006 Place of Death: Bridgman, Michigan&nbspMr. Willeman is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marilyn; a daughter, Amy Padilla of Illinois; a "son", Tony (Rhonda) Padilla of Bridgman; one grandson, Javier Padilla, who was the joy of his life; his father, Dallas Willeman of Ohio; four sisters – Donna (Bill) Nofziger and Martha (Bernie) Smith all of Ohio, Shirley Champion of Arizona, and Patricia (Harold) Perryman of Michigan; and two brothers – Larry (Becky) Willeman and David (Kim) Willeman all of Ohio.
