Robert Gerald Langfeldt

Robert Gerald Langfeldt, 76, of Bridgman passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Pastor Joel Kruggel officiating. Friends may meet with the family prior to the service on Friday from 12 PM – 1 PM at the funeral home. Bob was born on June 8, 1950, in Saint Joseph, the son to the late Robert Hubert Langfeldt and Mary Florence Rudnick. On March 22, 1980 he married Martha Joy Mathewson, and they shared 46 years together. Bob worked as a CNC operator for Gast Manufacturing for over 20 years, retiring in 2011.

Among his joys were working on automobiles, especially his 1979 Trans Am, and 1970 Mini Cooper.

Bob is survived by his wife, Joy; daughters: Jaime (Chris) Wilfong and Ashley Langfeldt; grandchildren: Chase, Tyse, Anya, and Aliya; and a sister, Barbara Frobel.
