Roger Schigoda

Roger Samuel Schigoda, 77, of Baroda, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 4, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1733 Glendora Road, Buchanan with Reverend Jonathan Liebich officiating. Friends may meet with the family from 1 - 3 PM, Sunday, at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1733 Glendora Road, Buchanan, MI 49107 or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.

Roger was born April 5, 1936 in Benton Harbor the son of the late Sam A. and Elsie (Klug) Schigoda. Roger worked his entire life with the family on the family grape farm.

Survivors include his care givers Adeline Krieger of St. Joseph, Eugene & Marian Peters also of St. Joseph, and many cousins and a host of friends.
