Ronda Turner

Ronda Kim Turner, 58 of Buchanan, formerly of Stevensville passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, December 28, 2018 at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Ronda  was born on Saturday, August 20, 1960 in St. Joseph the daughter of Ronald and Janet (Zilke) Essig.  She graduated from Lakeshore High School and Central Michigan University.  She had a great love for music, reading, and cooking.  Ronda was a very kind person who loved her family and friends around her always.  Without judgment, she welcomed everyone with open arms and she enjoyed her special times with her dog, Tank.

Survivors include her children: Chelsea Turner and Michael Turner;  a step-daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Meyers; her parents, Ronald and Janet Essig;  lifelong friends: JoAnne Mahler-Kerill, Jennifer Lyon-Ahrens, and Linda Horton-Ewalt; and her faithful K9 companion, Tank.
