Rosalie Jean Stout, 97, of Bridgman, formerly of Thompsonville, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

Rosalie was born on October 6, 1927 in Lakeview, Michigan the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine (Brooks) Almy. On November 3, 1945 she married her high school sweetheart, Hugh Stout, and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2015.
Rosalie lived a long, full and happy life. After raising her children in Lakeview, she and Hugh retired to Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville MI where they were beloved community members. It was often said about her, "to know her is to love her" and it couldn't be more true. To spend time at her home meant being surrounded by good conversation, laughter, competitive card games and lots of food. It was a gathering place of joy for her family on holidays and birthdays. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and then her great-grandchildren was a highlight of her life. She made a friend everywhere she went, and will be missed greatly by those lucky enough to know her.
Survivors include two daughters: Kathy Stout and Julie Becktell; grandchildren: Shelley (JB) Cummings, Kerri (Carl Jurss) Becktell, and Mike (Erika) Becktell; and great grandchildren: Kirstyn Cummings, Charlie Jurss, Quinn Becktell, Henry Jurss, and Josephine Becktell.
Rosalie was also preceded in death by a son, Chris Stout; son-in-law, Dan Becktell; brother, Jerry Almy; and sister, Ayrs Shockey.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
