Sharon "Sherry" Ann Geisler, 81 of Stevensville passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home in the care of her family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman, MI 49106. Final resting place will be in Hickory Bluff Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph MI 49085 or Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 5400 S Niles Rd., St. Joseph MI 49085. Sherry was born June 9, 1942 in St. Joseph, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Schwanke) Paulstiene. On June 18, 1960 she married Tommy Geisler, Sr. and together they shared 53 years of love and laughter until he preceded her in death on March 8, 2014. Sherry and Tommy loved the open road and enjoyed many miles together on their Honda Goldwing. Sherry was a devoted Grandmother, friend and cat mom.
Survivors include her son: Michael (Sheryl) Geisler; grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew) Baker, Ashley Geisler, Jeremy McKie and Amanda Schmalfeld; great grandchildren: Brantley, Beckem, Ezra, Dylan, Gage, Landen, Joshua and Tatum.
Sherry was also preceded in death by her son, Tommy Geisler, Jr in 2016; and her brother Donald “Butch” Paulstiene. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Hospice Team for their dedication to providing care, support, safety and compassion through Sharon’s battle.
