Sharon Mosbey

Sharon Darlene Mosbey, 71, of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, May 18, from 11 AM - 1:00 PM at The Boyd Chapel of Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, 9191 Red Arrow Highway, Bridgman. A continuation of Sharon’s Celebration of Life will take place at the Bridgman American Legion Post # 331, 4241 Legion St., Bridgman, immediately following.. Memorial contributions may be given to The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal, Benton Harbor, MI 49022.

Sharon was born Thursday, April 18, 1946 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Elmer and Alice (Wagner) Lohraff. Sharon attended school at Bard in Benton Harbor. On February 22, 1964 she married Howard Lee (Red) Mosbey Jr. Sharon was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Bridgman American Legion Post #331.

Survivors include her husband: Howard Lee (Red) Mosbey, Jr.; sons: Scott (Joan) Mosbey, Brian (Liz) Mosbey; grandchildren: Eric (Brooke) Babendrager, Jessica (Matt) Cross, Ryan Babendrager; five great grandchildren; Avery and Macy Cross, Liam, Noelle and Willow Babendrager; two nieces; Lisa Dankert and Pam Watts; and three nephews; Steven Mason, Michael Lohraff, and Jeffrey Lohraff. Additionally, she loved her pets Daisy, Jack and Joey.

Sharon was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
