Shirley Mae Hoffman

Shirley Mae Hoffman, 93, of Bridgman passed away on March 4, 2024 at Corewell Health South, St. Joseph.

Shirley was born on November 6, 1930, in Bridgman, Michigan, the daughter of the late Martin and Erna (Lietke) Kuntz. On February 3, 1950 she married Gene Hoffman and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2018. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville. Shirley enjoyed doing ceramics, as well as watching The Golden Girls and Westerns.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law: Sally Hoffman; two grandchildren: Chad (Lindsey) Hoffman and Stacy Yeske; four great grandchildren; Austin (Taylor) Hoffman, Alisyn Hoffman, Ashton Hoffman, and Adin Yeske; and three great great grandchildren: Lillian, Leonardo, and Lincoln.

Shirley was also preceded in death by her son, Craig Hoffman in 2012; a brother, Marty Kuntz; and a sister, Geraldine Snyder.
