Thomas Schlutt

Thomas Schlutt, 73, of New Troy passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at his home.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, January 12, 2015 at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman with Reverend Randy D. Lett officiating. Burial will be in Ruggles Cemetery, Baroda. Friends may meet with the family from 10 - 11 AM prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given towards the needs of the family.

Thomas was born June 10, 1941 in Buchanan the son of the late Louis and Irene (Krawczyk) Schlutt. Thomas was a Navy veteran and worked as a machine operator in heavy construction. Tom was married to Carol Ann Mayer and she preceded him in death on September 7, 1994. He married Penny Trine on June 20, 1998.

Survivors include his wife Penny; daughter - Debra (Gerald, Jr.) Peterson of Bellevue, Nebraska; grandchildren - Shawna and Ava Peterson; siblings - Louis Schlutt, Mary (Wayne) Harvatitch and Christine (Larry) Sunday.
