Vada Fay Good

Vada Fay Good, 89, of Galien, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the home of her daughter.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Galien Cemetery. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Vada was born on November 3, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Richards) Uselton. On December 28, 1954 she married William Good and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2015. Together with her husband they owned and operated a firewood business, Goods Firewood, a business known for its service and timely delivery.

Survivors include two daughters: Mary Ann Weaver and Patricia (Hassel) Gilliam; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Vada was also preceded in death by her son, William Andrew Good, in 2002; three brothers, and a sister.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
