Virginia Klug

Virginia Adeline Klug, 99 of Buchanan  passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Buchanan Meadows in Buchanan.

A private family service will be held  at Zion United Church of Christ, 9100 Third Street, Baroda, Michigan 49101 with Reverend Dr. David Moffett-Moore officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman.  Friends may meet with the family from 1PM - 3PM  Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the Pike Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy. Virginia was born March 29, 1921  in Baroda, Michigan the daughter of the late  Gustave and Ottillie (Macholtz) Zielke.  On September 18, 1949 she married Erwin Herman Klug, Sr who preceded her in death on December 6, 1977. Virginia was devoted to her family, her farm, and was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children: Erwin (Mary) Klug, Jr and Sandra (David) Schutze; four grandchildren: Corine (Brandon) Stewart, Paula (Elvis) Tucek, Andrew (Lyndsay) Klug and Amanda Schutze; four great grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by 14 siblings.
