Warren Svorec

Warren Edward Svorec, 81 of Bridgman passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph.

A private family service will be held at Graceland Cemetey. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 3903 Lake Street, Bridgman MI 49106.

Warren was born December 25, 1935 in Bridgman the son of the late John and Helen (Kading) Svorec. He retired from Gast Manufacturing and enjoyed old cars, woodworking and working in his garden. Warren was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

On July 5, 1958 he married Rosalie Joann Roeder and she survives along with a son, Mark (Renee) Svorec, a daughter: Marcia (Craig) Hanke, six grandchildren: Lenee, Amber, Amanda and Markianna Svorec, Tonya (Joshua) Vandenbrink and Elliott Hanke, a brother: Jerald (Mary Lou) Svorec; two sisters: Shirley Erne and Emily Zilke and a sister-in-law: Carol Svorec.

Warren was also preceded in death by two brothers: Raymond and John and two brothers-in-law: Jack Erne and Alan Zilke.
