Wesley George Freischlag, Jr.

Wesley George Freischlag Jr., 80, of Sawyer went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday October 23, 2025.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 10-11 AM, prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Rising Kites (risingkites.org) or the Arthritis Foundation (arthritis.org). Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.

Wesley was born on April 13, 1945 in Chicago the son of the late Wesley and Edith (Nelson) Freischlag Sr. On March 23, 1967 he married the former Roberta Anderson.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Roberta; three sons: Brian Freischlag, Scott (Kelly) Freischlag, and Kevin (Minde) Freischlag; nine grandchildren: Taylor (Dylan) DeTroye, Madison Freischlag, Kendal Freischlag, Scott Freischlag Jr., Riley Freischlag, Nathan Freischlag, Trenton Freischlag, Alyssa Alvey, and Elijah Alvey; one great granddaughter, Nora DeTroye; sisters: Sharon Freischlag and Gayle (Ted) Wahlin; nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
