Willie "Bill" Warmbein, 95, of Three Oaks passed away peacefully as he was carried to heaven by the angels on Monday, July 14, 2008.

Bill was born June 15, 1913 in Thalberg, Manitoba, Canada the son of the late Robert and Caroline (Modro) Warmbein. On April 22, 1950 he married the former Lillian Schwark and she preceded him in death on January 19, 1975. Bill has been a lifelong farmer and was honored as Conservation Farmer of the Year by the Galien River Soil Conservation District in 1989. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer.
