Carolyn "Mitzie" Naumann

Carolyn “Mitzie” Ann Naumann, 85, of Stevensville passed away at her home on November 13, 2021.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 10-11 AM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Mitzie was born on November 13, 1936 in Bridgman, the daughter of the late Emil and Elizabeth (Schulz) Loraff. On October 18, 1988 she married Edwin “Max” Naumann and they shared 33 years together. Carolyn worked at several bar and restaurants including Red Coach. She was a member of the Stevensville American Legion Auxiliary, Post 568 for over 50 years. Carolyn retired from Alpha Resources in Stevensville. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing golf and bowling. She also enjoyed camping for over 20 years and always enjoyed a good drink on the patio with her friends, neighbors, and family. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and playing pranks. Mitzie loved everyone BBB.

Survivors include her husband: Max; her daughter: Vickie (Charles) Vertz; step-children: Craig (Regina) Naumann, Brian (Sheli) Naumann, Kevin Naumann, and Holly (Justin) Rzeszut; five grandchildren: Tracy (Shauen) Scheffler, Cole (Kayla) Vertz, Craig Naumann Jr., Chloe Naumann, Peyton Rzeszut, a great grandson: Dane Scheffler; a sister: Doris McLaughlin; and a dear friend: Linda Mayer.

Mitzie was also preceded in death by her first husband: Victor Trapp; step-son: Jeff Naumann; siblings: Henry and Sonny Loraff, Marie Deterbeck, and Dorothy Priefer.
