Janice Brewer

Janice Kathleen Brewer, 87, of  Baroda, passed away September 9, 2020  in the angelic care of the staff at Petrona’s Country Home in Baroda.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Service, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Janice was born, September 17, 1932, to Claude and Grace (Corson) Goodrich of Ravenna, Michigan. She, as her husband before her, died eight days prior to her birthday. Janice graduated from Ravenna High School in 1950. On August 13, 1952 she married Ronald Max Brewer and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2019. Janice spent most of her working career, with her husband, at Heath Company. She was a quiet person that loved reading and in retirement volunteered for a number of years at the hospital in St. Joseph.

Janice is survived by her son, David, daughter-in-law, Yuanping Chen, and grandson, Max. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings who have passed on.
