Marjorie Jean Workinger, 91 of Bridgman passed away on November 23, 2021 at The Willows Assisted Living, St. Joseph.

Marjorie was born March 3, 1930 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of the late Irving and Lela (Gilson) Horton. On September 16, 1949 she married Douglas Richard Workinger and he preceded her in death on September 9, 2020. Marjorie was the co-owner of Doug’s Bridgman Bakery on Lake Street along with her husband. She enjoyed being up north with her family, boating, fishing and trail riding. She also enjoyed her annual trip to Mexico with her husband, Doug in their private plane.

Survivors include four daughters: Karen Workinger, Gail (John) Coon, Cathy (Curt) Plomb and Carol (Charles) Duvall; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren;

Marjorie was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Horton; and a sister, Dorothy Ott.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
