Michael Meade

Michael Wayne Meade, 76, of St. Joseph passed away peacefully at his home on September 27, 2021.

Memorial service 3:30 PM Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 2-3:30 PM prior to the service. Military rites will be provided by the Stevensville American Legion Post 568 at 4 PM. Following the service there will be a luncheon at the Baroda American Legion Post 345, beginning at 5 PM. Michael was born on May 20, 1945 in Coeburn, Virgina, the son of the late Roy and Lula (Hopson) Meade. On June 6, 1998, he married Karen MacLean and they shared 23 years together. Michael was a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid bowler and a proud member of the Stevensville American Legion Post 568. Most of all, Michael was a loving husband and best friend to Karen.

Survivors include his wife: Karen; her children: Dana (Ray) Hensley, Leanne (Zack) Mooney, Alycia (Ryan Burch) Rabago; 12 grandchildren; siblings: Barbara Kosack, Elizabeth Montgomery, Justine (Tim) Allen, Douglas (Jeri) Meade, and Jeff (Susan) Meade.
