Stella Gladys Brunke, 93, of Bridgman passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Woodland Terrace, Bridgman.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9650 Church Street, Bridgman with Reverend Jonathan Liebich, officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday from 5 - 7 PM at Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, PO Box 26, Bridgman MI 49106 or Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085. Stella was born June 4, 1927 in Stevensville the daughter of the late Albert and Esther (Schultz) Hoge. On July 12, 1975, she married Arthur Lee Brunke and they shared 45 years together. Stella worked with her husband as office manager at Brunke's Heating & Plumbing. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, golfing  on a women’s league, and putting puzzles together. Stella was a  member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bridgman. 

Survivors include her husband Arthur Brunke; children: Susan (Brian) Bruce, Mark (Mary Anne) Mabry, Laura Brunke, Lisa (Evert Vandeworp) Brunke and Lonna (Mark) Harrington; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Stella was preceded by her brother Ralph Hoge.
