Our History
Pike Funeral Home is Bridgman's oldest business. First known as W.F Hall the business was started by Fred and Anna Hall in 1920. The Hall's sold the funeral home in 1953 to Howard and Hazel Boyd and became know as Boyd Funeral Home. In 1973 the funeral home was sold to the Boyd's son-in-law and daughter, Gerald and Sandy Vigansky. In April of 1997 Kraig Pike moved to Bridgman from Muskegon, Michigan. While in Muskegon, Kraig was a director at Sytsema Funeral Homes. In July of 2001 the Vigansky's sold the funeral home to Kraig and Rachel Pike and the name as soon changed to Boyd-Pike Funeral Home. In August of 2005 the funeral home on Lake Street was destroyed by fire. In September, 2006 the funeral re-opened in Lake Township as Pike Funeral Home, Boyd Chapel
